CALLING ALL WOMEN

This takes up where Margaret Culkin Banning's Women for Defense left off. It is a complete survey of what women can do in today's war, at home, on the land, in industry, in defense. The uses, functions, training and opportunities in each type of work whether in Civilian Defense, National Red Cross, A.W.V.S., U.S.O., Mechanical Services, Protective Services and home jobs. Some will find it a bit irritating with its super glorification of us gals and its boom boom gusto, but -- for its purpose -- it is good enough.
