TICKTOCK AND JIM

A swell horse-boy story for the ten year old and older. Jim traded an heirloom watch for a poky looking pony and his father was anything but enthusiastic about the horse and the deal. But Jim and Ticktook earned their way and made town history. Jim spent a wonderful summer of work and play with the best pet a boy ever had. When Ticktook got going, he did pretty well on a grown-up level, too. And Jim's father agreed with Jim that he was quite a bargain when you added it all up.
