THE PLAY BOOK

Excellent guide book for beginning Little Theatre groups, for schools and camps and groups interested in amateur theatricals. Occasionally a bit patronizing and too too simple, but basically sound. How to choose a play, the casting, direction, training of speech, mood and posture, rehearsals, etc. Nine plays included to present types, -- farce, comedy, tragedy, opera, etc. Radio skit and screen scenario included. Each play accompanied with suggestions for costuming, setting, types to play parts. Practical, clear, a good how-to-do book.
