MARGIE: The Story of a Friendship

Of improvement, inspirational value for the younger generation, this true story of a model miss of today, her friendship-love for Dick, retold largely through her letters to the boy she loved. Margie and Dick met at a conference of the Student Christian Movement, as both were about to enter college, Margie to attend Denison University in Ohio, Dick to attend Dartmouth. Falling in love during these few days, time was not to change their relationship. The letters contain much of her casual campus life, also reflect her young idealism, her genuine Christianity. Margie died in a boating accident, and at the request of her friends, this book has been compiled, not as a memorial to Margie but perhaps more as an object lesson and source of faith.
