LOST CITY OF THE SUN

A Four Corners mystery digs back into history for the discovery of the secret behind a lost tribe of the pueblo district and also uncovers an archeological fraud. The two heroes of the story are Gard, a boy who works at the Klah Nez trading post in New Mexico Navajo country, and Brian Telford, another boy who comes with an expedition bent on discovering a deserted Anasazi village and the reasons for its abandonment centuries ago. The story is a good one and as the plot thickens and Gard Joins the expedition, the boys' suspicions that the expedition leader is up to no good, are confirmed. Lonergan, the leader, is trapped in his attempt to gain control of the valuable finds, and Card and the more studious Brian are rewarded with a double solution to their quest.
