MAMA TOOK UP TRAVEL

Further gallivanting in the slightly fictionised family life of the Inghams, as they take off for a tour of Europe. Papa's plans of investigating mail delivery in order to accumulate ammunition for his fight at home for extension of RFD suffer frequently as he is bemused by the graves of famous people, or by family squabbles over Aunt Melony's, or Aunt Sophie's championship of women's rights, or young Frankie's pursuit of actresses. But chiefly he is concerned over Eitel Friederich's pursuit of young Kathie- exciting to have a Kaiser's son in tow, but not acceptable to this Republican family. Formula following, with the usual surcharge of coy charm, labored cuteness. Nonetheless, the series marches on.
