ROXANA RAMPANT

Fictionized autobiography, or so it would seem from the publisher's note. And yet, as a story, it is not convincing in its factual base. Would a newspaper review office be run in the haphazard way this one seems to run? I wonder. Roxana was not popular nor attractive; she was a misfit at home, and she had a tough time finding place and time for her creative efforts. So she got herself a job. This shows what the job does to Roxana --and how she came out of her shell.
