by Lee. Chadwick ‧ RELEASE DATE: March 1, 1969
A loose assemblage of information on current efforts to increase the quantity and quality of food, especially in undernourished regions and especially as sponsored by the UN and its affiliated agencies. The treatment of separate topics like fertilization (or plant breeding or irrigation or weather prediction) is less thorough and orderly than in many other available studies and certainly The Green Frontier (13, J-13) is a superior source on chemurgy. But what this does provide is a panorama of ongoing projects so that if you're interested in the water hyacinth menace for example, or in the farming program in Botswana, you may find just what you need.
