AMERICA, INCORPORATED

A challenge to all of the American people to see what we have actually accomplished in the last generation, what we have learned from the New Deal, where we are and where we are going. Have we achieved a revolution only in ideas -- and is that a lasting one? Can we achieve also a revolution in economics? Is America Incorporated bankrupt, not financially, but as an expression of 130 million stockholders? Mr. Huberman has a survey of our economic history since the Civil War, and found us wanting. He may not always be balanced in viewpoint, he may be inaccurate at times, but he makes us watch, look and listen.
