THE EDUCATION OF H*Y*M*A*N K*A*P*L*A*N

There's a growing market for K*A*P*L*A*N's majestic utterances, followers who wait eagerly for each issue of The New Yorker hoping to find another of his evenings as student in Mr. Parkhill's class of the American Night Preparatory School for Adults. Inimitable humor -- we like it better than Nize Baby or Thunder Over The Bronx.. If you are not familiar with the sketches, read the story of his rendering of the speech from Macbeth (which he placed in ""Julius Scissor"" -- it is sheer genius. And it rings true.
