ANDY THE DOG WALKER

It hardly seems fair -- Andy supplants teenage Niki as dog walker for Mrs. Johnson's Charlie after Niki, going to make a phone call, asks Andy to watch her charges and he deserts (at the sound of a siren), allowing Charlie to loosen his leash and runaway; Andy spends most of the day searching, finds Charlie just ahead of the dog catcher, and returns him to a relieved Mrs. Johnson who blames Niki entirely and fires her. If you don't object to the injustice (Andy doesn't own up), there's a selective introduction to dog breeds and a pleasant tour of New York City's Central Park along the route.
