by Levinia R. Davis ‧ RELEASE DATE: Sept. 22, 1941
Short stories about different types of school today,- private school, progressive school, kindergarten, country school. Slim thread of connection in that the children who scatter in the Fall to various schools, play together in the summer in the park. The stories are very definitely planned to show the differences in the schools, the things each child can contribute and, particularly, the adaptation of the newly arrived foreign children to the American way. Well motivated, but not quite good enough stories to attract the child without some guiding hand.
