Unrelieved bumbling by Mr. Pig, who takes all sorts of spills while practicing for Miss Selma Pig's ice skating party; who shrinks, his clothes in the process of exercising so he can squeeze into them; and who gets muddy, grassy, bitten, and stung while trying to spruce up for Miss Selma's visit. ""'Oh, Miss Selma,' said Mr. Pig, 'what must you think of me? I did want to be clean and tidy as a very special treat.'"" She thinks he's special anyway, and in the last episode Mr. Pig finds one excuse after another to postpone setting off for a wedding which turns out to be Selma's and his own. Cute? But when all the groom has to offer are good intentions, it grows wearing.
