MAGIC WITH LEFTOVERS

Just to show you that saving ways- with a little imagination and ingenuity- can also be enticing, this cookbook varies the monotony of leftovers and offers many variations on the original. Mostly meats, but also poultry, fish and seafood, are converted into casseroles, souffles, filled pancakes, pies, mousses, and salads- and when possible into canapes, spreads, soups and sandwiches. There are also a few recipes for vegetables- and desserts (puddings and trifles). The recipes seem simple- but will please the more fastidious palate.
