WEST END NURSE

Good deeds girl is Mary, district nurse in a slum section. This is her story, that of her various friends among her cases, that of her two roommates, also nurses, and that of Dr. Rutledge, society doctor who is assigned to the West End and whom Mary thinks incapable of understanding the problems of the poor. Her antagonism toward him is largely unwarranted and by the close he overcomes it to prove that love is very close to hate. Sunny, sugary.
