CORONER'S CREEK

The Short, smooth treatment for a story of personal reprisal as Chris Danning, bitter and determined to get revenge for the death of his girl, tabs his antagonist in Younger Miles -- who with the sheriff as father-in-law and a rough crew, has gained unlimited power and money. Playing a lone hand, Chris finally gets support as the sheriff, to gain his self-respect, quits on Miles, lines up with Chris and the dead girl's brother to inflict a warranted end. Good.
