YOUR CHILD'S RELIGION

This book is readable and practical because the advice is given in a series of concrete stories -- actual experiences with young people. This book does not tell you how to make your child religious but how to do your best to be sure that his religiousness shall be enlightened, enriching and strengthening. The first chapters (on God, Prayer, Jesus, Death, the Bible), deal with the personal side of a child's religion, while the remainder deal with his social life in school, church, home and community, with his attitudes toward other religious, races and nations, and the under-privileged, and there is a final chapter which looks ahead toward adolescence. The reading suggestions and evaluations at the end of the book are helpful. An excellent little book for church leaders, public school teachers and parents.
