LIFE AND DEATH OF THE WICKED LADY SKELETON

Family haunting in a cleverly turned, out and out romancing. Back through the years, various manifestations show the violence of the restless spirit and finally the story of Barbara, Lady Skeleton, is revealed. Secretive, passionate, sly, she marries for name, position, money and finds in her marriage no outlet for her vitality nor intelligence. Loss at cards spurs her to robbery and a taste of adventure turns her into a highwayman by night, a lady by day. An affair with a famous highwayman teaches her the power of passion; they perpetrate daring coups; murder is added to their repertoire of misdeeds. When he is unfaithful she betrays him- then turns her attentions to seducing her sister-in-law's fiance- and, in one last raid, is accidentally wounded by her lover, and dies, before she can discard her disguise. The scandal is out- and for centuries her spirit walks. Tale teller's fancy.
