From Sweden comes this excellent book, liberal in viewpoint, objective, scholarly. The author now condemns, now condones first one side, then the other. The book falls into four parts:- the world problem in the increase of anti-Semitism; the national problem, in the failure of assimilation; the racial problem, which is disproved as such; the religious problem, in the Jewish assumption of being the chosen race. Assimilation, involving compromises on both sides, Jew and Christian, is the only real solution, and not an easy one. The facts presented are backed up by statistical evidence throughout.
