THE CHOICE

A high pressured, smooth surfaced recital of what happens when an unsuspecting and unrelated sextet receive a letter threatening their death: Chambrun, an unassimilated immigrant and antique dealer; Mike Conlon, a loan shark; Claire, an adventure avid night club entertainer; Albert, a drunk; Ned, a pleasant guy whose confidence had been destroyed by Jill- whom he loved; and Jill, who slept with him with indifference. From the reactions of each to their attempt to identify the writer, this follows down to the apprehension of the killer- a psychopath, provides escape entertainment which is febrile, soon forgotten.
