Slight, seantific fiction which finds Stella Grifith, a film star with a rocky record (marriages, breakdowns) in her forebears' native Wales where an induced fire combines with the unexplained disappearance of fifteen-year-old Megan, the illegitimate child of a grim spinster. Stella has visitations (hallucinations) which an exorcism proves to be quite real. . . . Most of this is up in the thin air with Megan's ghost but pleasant--for ladies.
