THE TRUCK BOOK

This is an up-to-the-minute truck book for country as well as city children. There are some 45 types of trucks included (many I could not have identified, I confess). There are the trucks that contribute to city well-being (the ""snow-go"" or snow loader, the refuse truck, the fire department trucks); there are the trucks that ease the life of those remote from cities (the stake truck for market deliveries, the house-moving carryall, the chicken truck, etc.); there are the trucks that add pleasure, that contribute to health (the bookmobile, the service trucks, the ice cream truck, and so on). A concise descriptive text supplements the photographs, will answer the questions, and parents should be eternally grateful. Unfortunately, the book is not indexed.
