GABRIEL CHURCHKITTEN

Peter Churchmouse is already a favorite in stores, libraries and homes and now comes Gabriel, who will be even more beloved. He hears Parson Pease-Porridge say that ""a little bird told him who took the pink bath soap"", so Gabriel concocts a thinking hat of a glass bird in a nest which he ties on his head. This becoming head-gear is worn all through the story in which he with Peter and the puppy, Trumpet, solve the parsons sleep-walking problems. A delicious book.
