I LIKE A WHOLE ONE

Forced to have only half an apple, to eat his banana sliced, offered just a quarter of a pear by his father, Arthur is determined to have his next piece of fruit whole, and he does -- a whole bunch of grapes to eat whole. A whole book about wholeness will be a total bore to a whole lot of kids; but if you know some who need to pull things together, it is completely unexceptionable -- the text is succinct, the drawings are crisp.
