THE SEA IS BLUE

A boy-girl romance in rainbow colors, in the period of sailing ships -- as Timmy and Cissie link their contacts with the New England harbor townspeople to the game they have invented, and find the link stronger than they knew. Timmy was supposed to be destined for a career other than the sea, but the call was in his blood- and Cissie waited until he knew she was still there. There's great charm in this little story, though it has, perhaps, slow motion for the age for which it is designed.
