TODD'S SNOW PATROL

An Alabama boy's adventures when he moves north with his family expands the kind of incident that is terribly important in a nine-year-old world. Naturally agog about the prospects of his first snowy winter Todd gets skis and starts dry practice. His friends in school urge him to try for the Snow Patrol and a part in the carnival, but whether he will be picked and really qualify remains a question till the end when Todd makes a rescue in the snow and through his own skill saves the carnival from a mishap. Two tones by Pru Herric are a cheerful addition to the text. Easy reading too.
