SWIMMING FEVER

Good summer reading, this is slightly older than the earlier books in this fictional sports series- and perhaps somewhat more of a plot, with even a bit of mystery, not wholly credible in its moral implications but adding to the pulling power of a story primarily intended as a basic presentation of swimming, diving, etc. There's sound instruction, with diagrams (and a psychological slant). Gay characters, and impulsive talkative hero, easy style and small town atmosphere.
