IF WE SHOULD FAIL

Based on versions of proclamations by Nazi and Japanese and the punishments meted out for any infraction of these decrees, this series of sketches, laid in various parts of the United States, unsparingly indicates what it would be like here, if we should fail in this war. How edicts against the Jews, against national money, broadcasting equipment, disrespect to officers, private ownership, against sabotage, defiance of labor regulations, violations of Axis authority, would affect our countrymen under Axis occupation, is a grim these: the payment for insurrection, as transferred from conquered countries to this country, is a nightmare of horror. In terms of people we all know, this makes a propaganda piece to bring home the cost of failure to this country.
