ORCHIDS ON YOUR BUDGET

Sorry to have let you down on this, but there was nothing available in advance due to Miss Hillis going in for so many last minute adjustments up and down the scale of the aforementioned budget, or something, that the publishers wouldn't let us in on a peep at the galleys. However, here it is -- you all know about it -- with the whirlwind success of Live Alone And Like It as a starter, it wont need much work on your part. Actually, once again she has succeeded in making entertaining reading of obvious truths, presented in such a way that one emerges after reading it with a conviction that it is a game, this living on a reduced income, not only gallantly but smartly and with something left over for extras. Definitely, a woman's book -- a follow-up on Live Alone and Like It -- not so original, but still a good buy.
