HORSEMAN'S ISLAND

More pony boys and girls in adventures in Ireland by the author of Riding Days Catherine Blakeney, Wake and Torfreda Conway spend a holiday with Catherine's grandmother, Uncle Peter and Aunt Helen at the family estate. Despite the fact that two horrid little girls -- Ethelberta, the Conways' cousin, and her friend Monica, are on hand, plenty of diversion is offered by a rumor about Sir Francis Blakeney's ghost, and fairies on Horseman's Island in whose company young Terry O'Mally supposedly was spirited away. But ponies are the pull here.
