THE BOOK OF CRAFTSMEN

Though somewhat mature for this age group, the subject matter fits into education projects at this point, or in some instances, even younger. Excellent factual background material, necessarily superficial, but amazingly comprehensive, and covering most of the crafts, -- pottery, metal work, sculpture, painting, architecture, leather work, dress design, etc. etc. Historical, biographical --not in any sense a how-to-do book. Fully illustrated. Not confined to one country or even one continent, but does not go into American crafts.
