by Marjory Hall ‧ RELEASE DATE: March 1, 1969
Nothing ever happens in Northville alias Flatville, U.S.A. until a new highway is projected which will bring in business. It also revives interest in the old Parrish place, fenced off literally and figuratively, and again the site of considerable speculation about some gold which had been smuggled from Canada. Three youngsters play cache as catch can and find it -- hidden in goldbricks in the brickyard. . . Marjory Hall writes so easily that she underestimates the possibility that she needs something to write about -- more than this which isn't worth its weight in anything.
