RAISE YOUR SIGHTS

Compare this with Loire Brophy's There's Plenty of Room At The Top (Simon & Schuster -- 1946- P. 611) and this seems ""stale, flat and unprofitable"". Furthermore, it is snobbish, petty and class- or money- conscious. It is just another book of good advice on how to be a big shot in business; maxims, and examples of how to succeed in business and get a good time out of success. The book lacks bite and forcefulness; it is too wordy and at times pedantic, with dry desert stretches between cases. I guess we just didn't like it and think that there are lots of better books.
