Charming and tiny is this little story by a painter who now lives in Philadelphia, and quite engagingly it tells of a simple walk in the fields. Susan's mother sends her on an errand to Mrs. Horseyfeather's, and so the little girl takes the opportunity to go with her friend Will Rabbit for a delightful morning. The author's pictures of their route suggest Maurice Sendak's but have a rounded, softer individuality of their own.
