SOME FELL AMONG THORNS

The story of a girl who found out that all that glitters is not gold -- and that the hard way is sometimes the best way. Small town Lyn, hating the narrowness of a poverty ridden life, gets her chance at luxury and fancy living in the household of her autocratic grandmother. But she finds that the snobbishness of the new set she meets, the imperious ways of her employer (she was acting as secretary) weigh the scales down, and the lot of her home town wins out. Romance coated moral tale, with a popular ring, but not much conviction. Rentals.
