SOMETHING ALWAYS HAPPENS

The author of The Surprise Place has written another vivid, comfortable family story. In this, Billy, the nine year old ""big brother"" with that wonderful small-boy capacity for getting involved in exciting activities, has some adventures that involve his sister, Maggie, their friends, and the grown-ups as well. Bear cubs, organ-grinders, bicycles, celebrations, are the stuff of these happy escapades for younger readers of the 3rd through 5th grade.
