CUE FOR MURDER

A Broadway show is the stage set for the killing of Grady O'Halloran, a producer-director, who has made an enemy of everyone with whom he has worked. Told by Mal Wilton, one of O'Halloran's victims, this investigates the lives of the stars and the other players, gets Mal in for a bombing and on a tough spot with the police, and finally gets him in the clear as the killer cracks. Forced rather than forceful.
