READ REVIEW

MY VERY FIRST BOOK

6 pages in full color- 2 colors on almost every other page- 48 pages in all- but even that isn't enough to redeem the disappointment in this too blatantly obvious, dated baby book --or scrap book for baby's first year- or whatever you call it. This sort of book is sold in layette departments- for young parents who haven't learned that the diaper services give one free. Here is a chance missed to incorporate the best in charts, in the findings of experts today. The form followed was the form used two generations back:- date and place of birth, name of doctor and nurse, birth certificate and footprints, family tree, birthstone, lullabies, christening date, first time out, vaccination, illnesses, first tooth, first words, first steps, weight, Christmases, pictures, etc. etc. Oh yes- a few changes and additions and omissions. But it's expensive merchandise for people who expect more from this gifted couple.
