PLANNING FOR COLLEGE

Should be in all school libraries, in public libraries accessible for older boys and girls, and in the private reference shelves of all consultants on the subject of educational opportunities. This is no recipe for getting into college, but a straight from the shoulder discussion, first of the question as to advisability, then the question of where and whys and wherefores of decision. Into the picture comes the problem of training for life and living, of interest and enthusiasm, of fitting the curriculum to the individual by selection of the right college. Following this section, a discussion of entrance requirements, of costs, of budgeting expenses. There is advice as how to get the necessary information and how to use it. First rate, and the only thing of the kind that I know that attacks the subject so sanely and objectively.
