THE VERY HOUSE

A new Gillian and Diggory book -- and all who loved Beside A Norman Tower will welcome it with glee. There is no attempt to weave a plot, but from these brief episodes, two small children, over a period of two years, grow into actual personalities. I liked this better than its predecessor. Sell to parents with children about four, five and six -- or to fond aunts and admiring relatives. (And it wouldn't do the not-so-admiring friends any harm!) A lovable, friendly book, for plus sale.
