TWO AND TOO MUCH

In a warm, realistic story, Brandon unwillingly looks after his two-year-old sister one day while Mama is busy, not realizing his affection for her until he thinks she's wandered off (she's asleep). Though Cummings pictures the two as older than they are, her authoritatively rendered illustrations make these black children believable and appealing.
