FAVORITE OLD FAIRY TALES

These are fairy tales off the beaten track. There's Dickens' Magic Fishbone, George MacDonald's Princess Daylight; there is a German fairy tale of not so long ago, there are nine stories of ""Sophie May"", written some three generations ago and favorites then. A very personal kind of selection of beloved stories of earlier generations, full of the enchantment of the moral tale, but there's good story telling, for bedtime reading and library story hours.
