TENDERFOOT AT BAR X

Illustrated with photographs this is a story of two boys and a spoiled girl from the East, on a sheep ranch in Southern Colorado near Creede. It gives just about the best picture of Western life we have found starting with a description of orphan or Penoo lambs born in a wild storm with some of the sheep killed by lightning. A very good job, absorbing and exciting in many parts. One of the twelve-year old boys is lost at one point and the growth of the Chicago cousins is well handled.
