by Nancy White Carlstrom ‧ RELEASE DATE: March 1, 1987
A rhyming preschool picture book about going to Grandma's house. The little girl who is packing for her trip goes through a litany of things she must take--all her toys and favorite clothes get hauled out to the car. The trip is cozy with toys, and the reunion with Grandma is joyous, ending with ""Grandma look up--the moon came too."" Both text and pictures are euphoric. Only a mother and grandmother are shown as members of the family. A happy little girl with patched over-alls and brightly-striped socks prances through the house getting ready. Her cat follows the action with great interest. Not outstanding artistically or literarily, but pleasant enough to be enjoyed by listener and reader alike.
