SISTER OF THE BRIDE

The sister of the bride is Emily, pushing thirty, who sacrificed her younger years to provide all the comforts of home for a demanding, widowed father, and to bring up Carla, younger, apoiled and willful. With Carla's marriage to Nicki, Emily does not see the end of her domestic victimization, as Carla returns home with Nicki -- and their friends, attempts to appropriate Mark -- whom Emily loves, and additional relatives encroach further and make her burden bigger. But finally it is Mark who frees her from her Cinderella complex, gives her a chance for a life of her own -- with him. All in all, rentably presentable.
