THE LOST ""CHICKEN HENRY

This is difficult reading. The dialect, the rambling style (which is deliberate), and the long spun out story of the machinations of the bogus medicine man and his assistant to get hold of the rights to a property where they believed the lost mine, ""Chicken Henry"" was located. Frankly, I found it boring. The attempt is made to convey the cowboy lingo -- but it takes a Will James to get away with it.
