THE EVENTS OF THAT WEEK

Charles in Palermo (most of the characters he's up against have names that end in o like Mafioso) is a free-lancing reporter and is forced into doing a delivery for a man called Angelo by virtue of the fact that his latest girl of an evening is in Angelo's hands. This doesn't settle down anywhere for very long but it's cheerful and guileless and relatively innocent. Think of it as a godson.
