A success on the London stage, schedule for production here this Fall, this is- for Noel Coward- a sober rather than satirical, realistic rather than fantastic projection of what might have happened had Britain lost the war in 1941. In two acts and eight scenes, and with one set- a London pub- through the reactions of the habitues, this maintains considerable drama in the portrayal of the average Briton's refusal to be conquered, rebuttal of the Germans which ends in their overthrow... A play which can be read as well as seen, and- with simple production problems- easy for Little Theatre production.
