OSBERT

A poodle picture book with delightful illustrations by Susanne Suba with those most satisfactory Slottie cut-outs in the back of the book from which poodle and mirror may be constructed easily. Osbert, a poodle of humble mien and shaggy coat, is barred from attendance at a family wedding, and the children, disconsolate, are determined to effect a change for the better. Osbert is spirited to the beauty parlor where the drooping hound is transformed into clipped and shining splendor. Even though we are sure a poodle would not benefit from a permanent, this is an amusing twist.
