SHOW AND TELL

Show and Tell"", a favorite ""subject"" among early graders is comically enacted in this little tale of Jeffry's contribution. Young readers will envy the privilege extended to Jeffry and his classmates -- for their teacher -- unusually permissive, allows the children to being in animals. Jeffry decides to display Bongo, his dog, provided mother will come along to play keeper. What happens when Jill's cat and Bongo tangle in the classroom the kind of will adore, and teachers will abhor. Though Jeffry winds up ""showing"" mother, he is eager to give Bongo a second chance the next Monday.
